Volker Scheid, Ph.D., graduated from the College of Traditional Acupuncture in 1984 and has a Ph.D. (1997) in Medical Anthropology from the University of Cambridge. Volker has written many articles and the book Synthesis and Plurality in Contemporary Chinese Medicine. He has taught extensively throughout Europe. Volker studied with some of China's foremost gynecologists and other clinical specialists. He visits SIOM to teach in the special topics classes and supervise clinic.
