Applicants to the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine must demonstrate they have completed the following academic prerequisites before entry into the program.

Three years of college study at the baccalaureate level with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA (90 semester/135 quarter credits)

One college level course in the study of General Biology (lab not required)

One college level course in the study of Chemistry (lab not required)

One college level course in the study of Psychology (lab not required)

A two course sequence in Anatomy and Physiology with a lab component for both courses
-
Current Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification
